How long does a carpet installation job take?
A single bedroom is usually 1 to 3 hours. A full home with three or four bedrooms, hallway, and stairs is typically a single full day. We give you a clear timeline before any work begins and schedule around your availability.
Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?
We move heavy items like beds, dressers, and couches as part of the install. We ask that you clear small items, electronics, breakables, and anything fragile or valuable from the rooms being carpeted.
Why do you power-stretch carpet instead of just knee-kicking?
A power stretcher uses a long mechanical pole to apply consistent force across the entire room, pulling carpet tight to the tack strip. A knee kicker only stretches a few feet at a time. Carpet that is only knee-kicked develops ripples within one to two years, and most manufacturers void the warranty without a power stretch.
What pad do you include? Can I upgrade?
Our standard is 8 lb density rebond pad, the minimum most carpet manufacturers require for warranty coverage. Premium 10 lb pad is a common upgrade for stairs and high-traffic areas. We can quote a moisture-barrier pad if your slab has moisture concerns.
Do you handle rental properties and turnover work?
Yes. We carry durable, value-priced options for rentals and run unit-turn projects with quick scheduling between leases. Tell us the unit count and timeline and we will quote.
Do you remove and dispose of the old carpet and pad?
Yes. Old carpet, pad, and tack strip removal and disposal are included in every residential installation. Your home is clean when we leave.
